Be extremely cautious when dealing with this location. They have a tendency to make billing adjustments without notifying customers, which can result in surprise charges. I was recently told that I supposedly “missed” a $102.77 payment last month and was then billed $517.54 this month — even though missing that payment would have caused my policy to be canceled, which never happened.
Today they called me, but instead of resolving the issue, I was told the charges came from their corporate office. They said if I did not pay by the 15th of this month my policy would be cancelled. The representative couldn’t explain the situation and transferred me to the manager, who also couldn’t clarify why my balance was suddenly so high. It was frustrating to hear them point fingers at corporate when I was under the impression this location was independently operated as a franchise that handled its own customers.
What’s even more concerning is the lack of communication no notice, no explanation, and no accountability. I keep records of my payments, so I know this supposed missed payment didn’t occur. Yet I was left with a large, unexplained bill and no real answers.
I would not recommend this location. For your financial protection and peace of mind, it’s best to work with another agent or office that values honesty, communication, and transparency. No customer should have to spend their time chasing down answers or paying for mistakes that aren’t theirs.
